If you are independent, creative and don't need a super structured Kappa-Kappa mindless social agenda Manhattanville is for you. Thirty years later I am still in touch with friends and my advisor. I felt prepared for graduate work at a top ranked design school. Manhattanville is more than just school, it is a life lesson. There are times when you will feel worked to death, when you are board like crazy, frustrated, have to sit still & suck it up, happy, reflective and very proud. Although the school has changed since my time, when the student body full of dusty global money, Tri-state attendees with heavy New England accents and a number of black-tie suite parties, the core values at Manhattanville have not changed . I find that very impressive you will always be able to relate to the community and re-visit what you were taught.
